In celebration of fitness legend Jack LaLanne’s 95th birthday, his grandnephew Chris LaLanne will attempt a feat performed by his uncle more than 50 years ago! Chris, 34, will challenge Jack’s feat of 1,000 pushups and 1,000 pullups in one hour and 22 minutes – a feat performed last by Jack on his 45th birthday in 1959. The attempt will take place on
Saturday, September 26, at 8:30 P.M. at LaLanne Fitness, Powered by CrossFit, located at 590 Howard Street in San Francisco...
The public is invited to watch what Chris calls “the most challenging workout of my life!” Fitness enthusiasts are welcome to serve as “rabbits” or pace-setters to work out beside him and help push him to the last repetition. Can he do it? Come and see for yourself. Admission is free. Call
