Tell me about the other fitness training methods/programs you have tried in the past? I grew up playing basketball (go figure), softball and competitive swimming. In college, the training for swimming introduced me to strength training, but I have always preferred a cardio driven workout. For the past 15 years, I've done half marathons, trail runs, triathlons and spinning classes. None of which compare to a Crossfit workout...

How long have you been doing CrossFit? What physical, mental changes have you noticed since starting CrossFit? I've been doing CrossFit close to three months now. Physically, my recovery time, subsequent to a CrossFit workout. has decreased significantly. Moreover, I am more focused on improving my time, form, and strength with every workout. The mental changes have been all about overcoming fear. I achieved the handstand push-up with guidance and support from my CrossFit mates.
What is your favorite exercise/workout? Why? My second CrossFit class was the Seal-fit Saturday and I loved it. I enjoy doing a timed sequence of challenging exercises. During these workouts, I'm in my own world, pushing myself to the limit.
What do you like most about LaLanne Fitness? This workout is one that I would never be able to replicate in any gym. I push myself each and every workout because I truly feel that I am among elite athletes. Unlike running, biking, or swimming; the intensity of the CrossFit workouts help me
hit the “reset” button.
