Ingredients:

Two of these: almost identical to real rings….1’’ thickness, about 7’’ inside diameter.

Then add two nylon lashing straps, which can be found at almost any hardware store. I used 12’ straps which turned out to be a little different than I had expected, but looping them proved no problem.

Throw in a little sandpaper to take the gloss off of the purse rings, and some grip tape (3.29 at my local hardware store) and you’re good to go! My total outlay was about $65, so I really didn’t save that much, but the satisfaction of having them is very, very sweet. I’ll post pictures as soon as I can.

Also, http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=12572 has convinced me that nobody is too poor to have their own pair of perfectly functional rings. Do yourself a big favor and check it out!
