No surprise here that I got to busy to write anything down - swamped at work with all the Halloween events this week. October is always total chaos. sooo excited it is almost over!
Ate healthy but didn't have the focus to pay attention to timing of meals and didn't get enough veggies in.
Only booze was a giant shot of tequila after the salting my wound ordeal.
Only other cheat was last night - so busy at work couldn't eat my dinner ended up with a mini bag of skittles and a single starburst. shared my chicken and brussels with the rest of the staff at 3:00am --

Noon 3 slices of Turkey w lett/mustard
4:00pm Raw broccoli and 3 bean salad
8:00pm - 11:00pm Dinner at Supper Club - skipped corn soup, ate first course - grilled fish with watermelon beet salad, steak with broccolini and small bread pudding w tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream.. weird and disturbing experience... check that off the list. And tons of drinks with best friend and his girl... I did pretty well with skipping every other round- still ended up having about 9 drinks 3 prosecco 6 tequila. ish.
1:00am went to Beretta split some small plates with a bunch of people - meatballs - lamb skewers - brussels - annnnd crab arancini.
the bartender gave me a shot of tequila that must have been 6oz. yikes. gave away most of it. I think.
Awesome night w friends worth the indulgence.

Whoopsie. Last week has been garbage. Schedule has been totally off... I think I ate Pirates Bootie for dinner one night. Rosamunde Bratwurst w Sauerkraut and ate half the bun yesterday. went out to dinner on Tuesday and had to try the Mac n Cheese - Shit -- Friday ordered delivery from Blue Plate at work - squash definitely had butter. tried my friends mac n cheese that night - (Blue Plate's Mac n Cheese = worthy cheat FYI). Beretta's Steak and cauliflower on Saturday & had some of the fingerling potato's. oh yeah and I ate an english muffin on Sunday that i had originally pulled off my breakfast sangwich but was too starving later and had nothing on me so I gobbled it up. wasn't even good. And last night had 2 glasses of red wine and some tequila which by the way is the f'n worst combination out there. Drunk popcorn party. and yes I feel like crap. oooh there was some ice cream w my man one of my nights off too. Dairy irritates my asthma. um duh, maybe I shouldn't eat it. I'm a dummy sometimes.
Confession complete.
Restart.

5:00 3 slices of turkey/ham w Mustard
7:00pm OJ couple spoons of almond butter.

cheats: magic microwave popcorn on sunday w friends kids. two dolmas on monday.
Feeling really sluggish still. Upped it to 80mg of iron
Note to self: rotated different types of supplements. Huge difference Monday - Wednesday. Best when split dose of liquid iron one in Am one in Pm.

*** Took a blood test yesterday to check on my Iron levels (haven't checked since Nov. 2010), my levels have plummeted again. devastated. wicked.

Had a bunch of different things planned for my weekend and I kept finding myself stuck in situations where the food available was not Paleo - started to actually get really frustrating. This is definitely an issue I have not mastered - how to prepare for paleo eating when I am not in charge of the food preparation....
None of the slip ups where extreme - but it just seemed like every meal had a little something that didn't quite cut it. 9.26.11 was pretty good except I think there was a little butter and probably sugar in the food I ate.

Lessons:
1) Preparing Foods well before stressful work deadlines is a must because those are not the days I want to make an exception and indulge.
2) Need to work on the Hangover diet. Saturday should be a good test.
3) I am addicted to popcorn and it is out of control. Ever since I moved and now have a microwave – And found out that those store bought microwave popcorn bags are not magic. You can just put organic Kernels in a brown paper bag, tape it and microwave it for 2 minutes. Who knew? Not me. Totally addicted.

Haven't been logging food because I've been having too much fun with friends and celebrating etc.... worth it but time to get back in a good groove.
Starting a 30 day body cleanse - fairly strict paleo w no nightshades, but not giving up beans. logging food. Glutathione, Alpha Lipoic Acid, and Kyolic added to supplements (sorry guys, I'm about to smell like a farm animal) Liver Detox Tea & Dandelion root and 3x Colon Hydro Therapy over 14 days. Yikes.

Ripped my pants yesterday. Heh. I did have the tart tatin and chocolates at one of guy savoys little restaurants.oopsie.
