**So my first day post-Whole 30 and not surprisingly I woke up feeling like complete crap! Slightly hungover, bloated and just not good from celebrating the night before. I think it was actually a good experience to feel this way so quickly after doing the Whole 30. Waking up and feeling GREAT was still fresh in my mind and made me realize that I'd prefer to wake up feeling good than go crazy with sugar, bread and alcohol.
Some Whole 30 learnings:
+ I wish I had cut fruit out while doing this. I found myself eating way more fruit than I normally do bc I wasn't getting sugar from anywhere else. I am thinking of doing Balanced Bites 21 Day Sugar Detox to get this under control.
+ I still want chocolate all time. In fact I ate a half a chocolate bar last night smile. Hence the need for this sugar detox.
+ Coconut Cream in my coffee is growing on me.
+ My taste buds are changing - things are noticeably too salty and too sweet. Which is good. Eating less processed junk is making my taste buds return to homeostasis I feel.
+ I am really proud of myself for going 30 whole days without alcohol. I haven't done that ever! The most challenging times for this were shockingly the more intimate settings as opposed to when I was at parties - like watching a movie in front of the fire with Niall or meeting up with a girlfriend for dinner. Those were the times I REALLY wanted a glass of wine.
+ Going to continue logging and likely work in a bit of wine, dark chocolate, the occasional GOOD cheese and probably that's it. And definitely going to do this 21 day sugar detox - just need to find a good window to do it.

- GUZZLED 40 oz of water in an effort to kill the hangover
- mini turkey burger (just ground turkey and spices)

- Spinach salad at Polkers (chicken, spinach, onions, pears and walnuts that were caramelized or something, vinaigrette, goat cheese)
- Bite of Niall's chicken sausage

- mini turkey burger (just ground turkey and spices)
- 2 figs

7:00 PM
- 2 mini turkey burger (just ground turkey and spices)
- sweet potato fries
- half a milk chocolate bar (I threw it out - I knew I could eat the entire thing!)
