2:30 PM PT

6:15 PM - Dinner at Georges

9:00 PM

Friday, 7.15.11 to Sunday, 7.17.11
- Traveled to Indiana for a bachelorette and planned for this when we started the challenge to be a not great weekend knowing that I would do the best I could while there and come back 100% first thing on Monday morning. There were several instances where it would have been either extremely inconvenient or rude to my host to eat paleo (as opposed to the food they had painstakingly prepared for us). But still made the best food choices I could with the options I had. Can't exactly say that about alcohol though (it was a bachelorette party after all!). Still managed to avoid bread and most sugar. Also tried to drink LOTS of water and took my supplements each day knowing my sleep and food would not be great.

**So I have been doing Paleo for about 6 months now, pretty strict. I feel so much better day to day and when I do slip, I usually end up with a stomach ache pretty soon after. I try to limit cheats to weekends - life is too short to not enjoy a good restaurant or wine! But most of my cheats consist of wine (never give it up!), chocolate (try to eat 82%) and coffeemate (trying to switch to coconut milk). I also need to limit the amount of fruit I eat - I can definitely overindulge in things like peaches, dates and dried mangoes.
