Paleo Fail:
12 oz Sierra Nevada Juniper Black Ale (my friends took me to another beer bar....AH!!!)
1 shot Cazadores Reposado (tequila) on ice with lime (not as bad as beer but still a paleo fail...the idea was to get tipsy and then watch Harry Potter...I think I'm doing well in general at the alcohol in moderation thing though!)
Grilled zuchini, bell peppers and onions
Salad (lettuce, carrots, bell peppers with olive oil salt and pepper)
Fried bananas in olive oil with cinnamon... mmmmm

1/2 peach tart (peaches cut up with cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg over a almond date crust)
Chocolate Almond Banana bread
Handful of walnuts and slices of turkey
Banana squished up with walnuts in it
Avocado
fruit salad (melon, pineapple and strawberries)
Sirloin steak
Small piece of Chili Relleno (These are my dad's specialty and I was visiting him and just couldn't say no...green chili, eggs, jack cheese)
Coconut water
Total water for the day: 40 oz...OUCH! day with the fam is always stressful and I don't have much time to think about my own needs.

Half of a peach tart (almond and dates crust, filled with peaches, cinamon, nutmeg, and cloves)
Smoothie (hazlenut milk, banana, strawberries)
1/2 avocado
Almond Mango Bread(2 eggs, 1.5 c almond flower, 1/4 c olive oil, 1 cup finely chopped mango)
Portobella mushroom with butternut squash on top
kale and chard stirfry with onions, garlic and pecans

Avocado Smoothie (avocado, almond milk, agave nectar)

*I asked for dressing on the side and I guess they forgot :( The hardest part of this diet is the social aspect! I have such a hard time finding things I can eat on a menu and people keep invitng me out for dinner and drinks and such!....this has been the main challenge for me, keeping up my social life whithout having to talk about Paleo constantly in justifying why I'm not partaking in food/alcohol events.

Foods that I love that are not Paleo/foods to replace them:
Cheese! - avocado, coconut puree
Bread - Paleo nut bread
Butter - olive oil
Coffee - Tea, Coconut water
Beer - Red wine, tequila

Whole acorn squash with fig juice* on top

*Fig juice - pureed figs without the skin, delicious natural sweetener
