July 15th--Day 5
Breakfast--yogurt w strawberries, banana
Lunch--fish dinner from Chef by Request, water
Snack/pre-dinner--crackers with hummus, goat cheese. Cosmpolitan cocktail
Dinner--Veggie burger w portobello mushroom. a few french fries. red wine. 4 cookies. water.

July 14th--Day 3. better than yesterday.
Breakfast--yogurt with blueberries, banana. coffee.
Lunch--spinach salad with hardboiled egg, broccoli, various veggies. vinaigrette dressing. 2 falafels w hummus. water.
Snack--some rice crackers.
Dinner--chicken dinner from Chef by Request. white wine. a little bit of potato salad. 4 cookies. water.

July 13th--not a good food day, at least not from the Paleo perspective.
Breakfast--Go Lean Kashi cereal with almond milk; berries; coffee
Lunch (with foodie boss)--roasted peaches on walnut bread with arugula; cooked carrots w cilantro; 1 piece garlic bread; strawberry lemonade; 1/2 dulche de leche cookie
Dinner (out with friends)--few crackers w goat cheese; duck terrine on toast (2); beef cheek "taco" on tortilla chip (1); duck confit with couscous; panna cotta w berries; red wine.

July 12th--Day 2 a good food day.
Breakfast--scrambled eggs with veggies. coffee.
Lunch--spinach salad with tuna, various veggies, balsamic dressing. (I guess vinegar is not Paleo but I don't know why. anyway, I'm not going to worry about that bit.) Water.
Dinner--fish something with veggies, from Chef by Request. water. some pineapple chunks.
could drink more water. probably had ~50 or 60 oz thru the day.

Day 1 of Paleo 30 day challenge - July 11th.
Bfast--strawberry yogurt, 1 peach. coffee.
lunch--chicken teriyaki over rice, mixed steamed vegetables. coke zero
dinner--turkey pesto meatballs from Chef by Request. a piece of cake (!). well it was left over so I thought I'd eat it.
I know several of the above are not Paleo. and certainly not the cake! my goal in this 30 days is not to be strictly Paleo (heresy?) but to:
--keep a food log, consistent, complete and honest
--eat 'healthier' and more Paleo like
--reduce some bad habits with alchohol and high calorie/low food value choices.
--drink a lot more water.
