Whoa really.... I haven't posted in months. I have been a bad girl about 20% of the time now. It used to be 5%. I actually just bought a Life as Rx shirt that describes my eating lately. "100% Paleo 80% of the time."

Time to get back to my 90%/10%, then to 95%/5%.... I will never be 100%. Just being realistic with myself.

I haven't been weighing myself the past few days, but when I jumped on the scale I was super happy to find out that I lost another pound! I am now 10 days out from the shoot! Yikes!

11:30am- (Chef by Request)-3 oz. chicken with broccoli, zucchini and snap peas....

10:45am-(CBR) 1 slice of turkey bacon, 1/2 hardboiled egg (snack before Jackson's swim lesson)

12:30pm- Five Guy's Burger- protein style 1 1/2 patties, 5 peanuts, 2 fries....oh so good

3pm- glass of Hibicus water

(Damn, I forgot my snacks at home...no time to stop.)

6:30pm- (Joe's Taco Lounge) 2 chicken tacos with avocado, 5 chips

9:30pm- small chocolate frozen yogurt with almonds (lil cheat)

1pm- CBR- green salad with shredded pork

3pm- snack: 4 slices of sausage, small piece of turkey, apple, pistachios

5pm- CBR Almond Crusted Chicken, greens, some roasted orange pieces

7:30pm- (post- WOD) Protein shake (almond milk, whey protein, ice)

9pm- handful of pistachios.... Chris ate my dinner. :( I am super hungry. Punk.

11pm- I was still up and super hungry, so Chris went to Wendy's and got me a yummy Apple/Pecan Salad (sans blue cheese). I used a tiny bit of the dressing.

12:30pm-Chef by Request- turkey salad.... finding it hard to finish my food this morning, I think I am just too stressed out.

3:30pm- 1 pink popcorn, 1/2 Hershey's Bar. REally? REALLY?! I just turned into an emotional eater! wink

4:15pm- big green salad with turkey meat from Chef by Request, 1 apple

7:00pm- a small chicken tender, stealing Jackson's food

9pm- Chef by Request- turkey, zucchini, squash, green beans, handful of pistachios

The terrible cravings continue and I want Taco Bell! I can't remember the last time I had TACO BELL! Why do I want it?!

Forgot to post, but all Paleo, except a little late night sample cracker snack. WTF is wrong with me? I need it, I crave it. I think it's the salt.

12:30pm- 2 egg whites, 1 chicken apple sausage, 1/2 avocado

3pm- BBQ party- 3 ribs, small piece of flank steak, 2 pieces of bruschetta, 1 pork sausage, 3 bites of cake

5:30pm- 1 rib- snack

6:30pm- green tea (pre-WOD)

9pm- (post-WOD) 1 chicken apple sausage, big green salad with handful of pistachios

10:30pm- sample size of multigrain crackers....whatever it tastes yummy.

Chef by Request starts up tomorrow M-F until the shoot.

(dropped another .4 lbs and took another inch off of my waist)


12:15pm- 1 chicken breast, 1 apple, handful of pistachios (my food has been on repeat)

1:30pm- protein shake (whey, almond milk, ice, water)

4:15pm- (Buckhorn Grill)- Roadhouse salad with chicken (sans: cheese, crispy onions, dressing) add:avocado

9pm- OMG!!! SOOO HUNGRY!!!! (post-WOD)
1 red skin yam (broiled sliced thin with olive oil- my Paleo fries), 1 chicken breast, ruby reds salad with pistachios..... I am still hungry after eating all of this.

10pm- 2 baby cucumber with lime and salt

10:30pm- sample pack of Crunchmaster Multi-grain crackers (gluten-free).... I was just craving something carby.


STILL HUNGRY! I blame FEMALE hormones. It's not always easy being a girl. wink

8:30 am- 1/4 chicken, 1/2 apple, handful of pistachios

12 pm- (post WOD) Protein shake (chocolate almond milk, vanilla whey protein, ice, water)

1:30 pm- 1 chicken breast, 12 asparagus spears, handful of pistachios

6:15 pm- (post WOD)- 4 ribs, 20 asparagus spears, handful of pistachios.....I was so hungry!

(dropped another pound....lost another 1/2 inch off of my waist and hips)

8:30am- 2 egg whites, 1/4 cantaloupe, handful of almonds

12:30pm- Chicken and spinach salad with 2 eggs (ate this slowly until 2pm....just because I was SO full from eating it and drinking a crap load of water)

6:15pm- bite of hotdog (sans bun...literally a tiny bite)- I didn't think I was going to be stuck in terrible traffic for 1.5 hours! Damn shooter, shutting down 580!

7pm- 1/2 apple, handful of pistachios

8pm- 4 ribs, 1/4 grilled chicken (GOD I LOVE OUR GRILL!!!! BBQ every night! MY FAVE!!), handful of pistachios. I need to buy more veggies to grill. I was just so hungry. I really need to plan better in case of emergencies. I have plenty of emergency snacks for Jackson in the car, but none for mommy.

Getting hungry again. I might just eat an apple with almond butter.... drinking a tall glass of water and tea first.

Holy Crap.... BIGGGG photoshoot scheduled on 10/24.... time to CRACKDOWN LIKE A MUTHA!!! ARGGHHH!!! My tummy hurts just thinking about it!

9am- 2 egg whites (I was soooo hungry, but Jackson didn't want to let Mommy eat her breakfast)

10:30 am- flax seed crackers, I know I know, but it was in the car and I was hungry.

2:30pm- chicken kabob and grilled veggies.....the BEST investment I ever made was buying Chris a propane grill for Father's Day. It is SO easy to fire up! It is the gift that keeps on giving!!

3:30pm- 1/2 cantaloupe, cup of hibiscus water.....

My mom is so cute, she knows that I was stressing about eating enchiladas at dinner tonight, so she is making Caldo de Pollo instead (Mexican chicken soup). Thanks Mom!

6pm- bowl of Caldo de Pollo

10pm- 3 hardboiled egg whites with olive oil and a dash of salt

10pm-Feeling stressed about the shoot now!! I have a ways to go!! My body just doesn't respond like it used to before having a baby. I must work extra hard!

I have been TERRIBLE about logging, just pathetic.

Breakfast- eggs, turkey, guac

Lunch- mixed greens salad with chix, CUCUMBER LEMONADE

Dinner: Red leaf salad with chix, handful of almonds
.......

I picked up my cleanse order for tomorrow. Trying the CanCan Cleanse.... combination of soups, veggie/fruit beverages and nut milks. Looks pretty. smile

Day 1...30 Day Paleo Challenge. I eat 95% Paleo, so going 100% will be somewhat of a challenge that I am happy to take. Notice how the 30 Day Paleo Challenge was strategically started AFTER my birthday. wink

12pm- shredded cabbage and carrots

1:15 pm- 2 eggs, turkey, chicken, apples, avocado omelet, handful of almonds......

12pm- green salad with chicken, black beans, teenie tiny amount of tortilla strips

4:30 pm- almond milk

5pm- turkey and bacon sandwich wrapped in lettuce (in lieu of bread), sprouts and a small mixed greens salad

7:30 pm- 1/2 Honey Milk

8:15pm- (cheat meal) brown rice, orange beef, Kung Pao chicken, a few bites of chicken chow mein, Diet Coke... I feel like shit, but it was yummmmy.
