I downloaded an app for my Droid that reminds me to drink water. It is the BEST thing for me since I tend to forget to do so during the day. LOVE IT!

FINALLY AN ANSWER TO MY CHRONIC FATIGUE!!!! Apparently I am "SEVERELY" Vitamin D deficient. Not all of my labs are back, but at least I have a possible answer that is easily correctable so as long as that is the only problem. The GREAT news is that my thyroid is back to normal!!!! No wonder I am finally able to lose weight again!!! YAYAYAYAYAY!!!! Vitamin D deficiency in California? I thought crap like that only happens in those areas where there isn't a drop of sunshine. I hope it's only because I have been so busy at the gym, then tending to Jackson and nothing more. smile

1:00 pm- 4 strips of turkey bacon. I KNOW THIS ISN'T A MEAL, BUT MY APPETITE SUCKS in the beginning of the day now

2pm- 1/2 Honey Milk

9:30pm-CHEAT MEAL (Uncle Yu's, San Ramon) 2 shots of warm Sake and 1/2 glass TsingTao (I need to decompress and relieve a crap load of tension) chicken salad, cup of sizzling rice soup, Kung Pao chicken, chicken chow mein, 1 fortune cookie.

9pm- (Limon) Dinner with my Jamally-Mal: rotisserie chicken, 1 small piece of chicharron de pollo, salad, sweet potato fries with yummy dipping sauces.

My appetite seems to make it's presence in the evenings now..... I stopped the thyroid medicine and got two massive headaches today. I guess it will happen. I dropped another .5 lb!

2:30-4pm- been picking at my lunch.... NOT HUNGRY!!!! I do NOT know what is wrong with me! I am going to blame hormones and my effort to try and get off the thyroid medicine. My metabolism is all screwed up. I feel WEIRD> jittery with hot flashes and the whole bit. Fuck me.

7:15 pm- (CBR)- turkey meatballs with veggies..... (now I am shivering cold with blurry vision WTF? My body is a mess... this is frustrating as heck!)

I am down another pound!!! My motivation is on overdrive now! I feel as though my metabolism is back to where it used to be. Thank GOD!

Wow.... I am only 2.7 pounds away from my pre-trying-to-get-pregnant weight. I am STILL 15 pounds away from my most comfortable weight, but my doctor says that wasn't healthy for me. Perhaps I agree, but my old jeans miss my tiny ass.

12:30pm- tiny pork empanada... this was amazing, so amazing I burned my lip trying to stuff it in my mouth. Fatty.

1pm- turkey with veggies

3:45 pm- Juice to You Almond Milk

I woke up feeling WONDERFULLY REFRESHED! I dropped 1.5 pounds from the cleanse. Great kickstart.

I have not been logging again. Blah. On Saturday we had the finals for the Paleo Challenge and I went down 3% in body fat and replaced 4+ lbs of body fat with lean muscle. I was happy with this given that I had been battling some thyroid issues throughout the challenge. I am starting to wean myself off of the meds and take a natural approach since it was induced by pregnancy. I am planning on retesting in 8 weeks. I would like to drop another 5% body fat. I plan to do this by increasing my level of training, not so much scaling, as I am getting further along on my road back to Rx. I also am starting to do Chef by Request 4 days a week again. That way I don't have to worry about cooking when I get home at 9pm. It allows me to focus on Jackson when I get home. smile

11:30 am- E3 Live (blue-green algae).... tastes like I swallowed the ocean.
11:31 am- 8 oz. water
11:50 am- Green Goddess (celery, cucumber, sunflower sprouts, lemon)...at first I taste the cucumber and celery, then it leaves a lemon aftertaste in my mouth
2:20pm- Lemon-Aid (lemon, agave, ginger, cayenne, filtered water) .... it's like drinking spicy lemonade. Not bad.
5:30pm-WELLNESS WONDER(celery, cucumber, sunflower sprouts, kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, lemon)...I may be adjusting, but this stuff is tasting better!
8:30pm- Coconut Water (coconut water, alkaline water, himalayan salt)...OMG! So good!
9:44pm-ALMOND DRINK(raw almonds, coconut water, vanilla bean, himalayan salt, alkaline water)...MY FAVORITE!!! Tastes like HORCHATA!! I was afraid that I would be super hungry all day. It is the complete opposite. I still have two more drinks to go. I am so freaking full. It is supposed to be every 2 hours, but I have been too full to finish it.I have to force myself to finish the rest.
10:30pm- ALOE (aloe, coconut water, lime)... tasted just like lime juice, not bad

(I had to skip the Blood Builder) I was too tired to stay up and drink it. I should have squeezed it in earlier, but like I said, I was too full to even try and drink it, so I skipped to the Aloe drink and went to bed)

3/9-3/11 I did not log, but was good, minus the boxed lunch at the golf tournament.

3/11- Paleo Cooking Class- yummy food and great conversation. smile The funny thing is that the dish I prepared was flank steak lettuce cups. I gave up red meat for lent, but took a bite of my creation. I am sure I will not burn in hell, but I will add an extra day to my lent to make up for it. wink Apparently, I make up my own rules. I suck.

On a side note, I truly enjoyed the company I was with. I got to hang out with a few students I hardly ever see. I was also happy to meet a few new folks. We were a little above capacity, which made it a little crowded, but a lot of fun!

If you did not make it to this class, be sure not the miss the next one later this year.
