So busy today, I have been starving, but haven't had a moment to eat a decent meal. Dinner is going to be real late tonight. I hate eating late the day before a photo shoot, but it comes with the territory of running a business.
7:15 am- 2 egg whites, 1 nectarine
11:05 am- Santa Fe Chicken Salad (300 calories/ 13g protein)
2:00 pm- bite of cranberry granola roll.
6:30 pm- post-WOD protein shake (25g whey protein)
7:00 pm- Italian salad
9:30 pm- roasted chicken, 5 California Rolls, mixed greens
2:00 pm- Chicken lettuce cups and roti with curry sauce. (I regret eating the roti... it was greasy and both Chris and I feel horrible after eating it). :p
7:30 pm- mixed greens, roasted chicken, avocado with olive oil and balsamic vinegar; 5 California rolls, 15 cherries
I am feeling a little under-the-weather today, food does NOT appeal to me right now.
12 pm- oven roasted chicken, 1/2 cup penne with bolonese, house salad, lavender tea
6:30 pm- (been sleeping all day nursing a low-grade fever)- 2nd half of my lunch oven roasted chicken, 1/4 cup penne with bolonese, 5 garlic stuffed olives
9:30 pm- (hubby brought home Mexican food for his sick Mexican wife)- 2 1/2 chicken tacos (plain with lime), 1 cup Horchata, cucumbers with lime
9 am- 4 bites of Angel Food Cake, 1 cup of food salad (peaches, mangos, strawberries), 1 tablespoon of Cool Whip. (It was my belated b-day treat from the entire staff at Dr.M's office) Thanks guys! I cheated, but not too bad.
12:35 pm- turkey, brown rice, green beans (240 calories/17g protein)
Guilty Pleasures:
I confess. I have been a bad, bad girl. Chris and I spent the weekend at the Sanctuary Beach Resort in Marina, CA. We had a great time watching the CrossFit Games!! Exciting stuff, amazing athletes! Ok, so you might be wondering exactly what made me a bad girl this weekend.... FOOD!!! And guess what?! I am throwing CHRIS under the bus too!!! WE threw our good eating habits right out the window! We ate at some wonderful restaurants and NOTHING was off limits!! I believe we ate ice cream EVERY NIGHT!! Needless to say, we over-indulged quite a bit! To top off our weekend, last night we ate a slice of our year old wedding cake. Weird tradition, but it was actually tasty! Almost as tasty as it was on 7.7.7!!
Sometimes it's good to cheat on your diet, so you get a reminder of how shitty you feel after eating unhealthy food. (This is me trying to reason with myself)
