WOD: Weighted Push-Ups 5, 5, 5, 5, 5 , Front Squat5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5-break-Five rounds for time:Run 400m, 15 Front Squats #95/65


I did 85lbs in the 5x5

I did 75lbs for time

Completed in 19:59 before the cut-off. My energy kicked in somewhere in the middle and there was no stopping me!

Too many consecutive days off from working out - I need to either get up earlier and run but workload and late nights at the office have been an issue. Heading to NYC next week for work - running shoes and my Abmat will be the antedote.

Crossfit at 1PM today - woohoo!

Taking day off as most body parts are sore after 4 days of WODs and running. Will resume training tomorrow.

Max overhead squats
Last time my max was 45 lbs - this time it was 75lbs!

We finished with reverse burpees and db thrusters 25 lbs - AMRAP in 10 min - 7 rounds

Love the reverse burpee!

After WOD ran three miles!

Second workout at LLF at Lunch

Parkour warm up (I bet I looked ridiculous doing this - hahaha)

Finished in 8 min something - It was very tough - felt like I'd been away from the gym too long!

3.5 mile run with big hills - did the terraces between 20th and Noe down to 24th and back up and down.

Need to find my abmat and start doing this daily.

I was so annoyed. Work just got in the way. It is just one of those days that will happen.

Since the LLF is closed I will run 4.5 miles around Lake Merced for my WOD on Friday.

Tennis Match
4-6, 2-6

First set was good but the wind was nuts in the second set.

I also planned to run but time got away from me. Long day of work Tuesday but planning to start running in the morning on Wednesday. I'd like to be at 4-5 crossfits a week and 4 runs per week by the end of July.

Mile hike with the dogs

Tennis match - lost 6-4, 6-2

I was really happy with my focus in the first set and should have taken it. Second set my energy was gone and frankly fitness was an issue. Happy to say ankle held up and I'm back on track with my training so hopefully better results will follow.

Taking Saturday off as I suspect I may be so sore I won't be able to move.

Good sore from yesterday's JT workout. Very happy with how I felt since this was the first WOD since my ankle injury was going to put me out for 6 weeks. Its only been four and I am very excited.

Today WOD was tennis, lost 6-1, 6-3 but happy to be outside sweating on a sunny day. No problems with the ankle as well - another good sign.
