Crap.... haven't been keeping up with my posting.

Let's see... lots of running, hiking, walking, DANCING.... then a few weeks of scattered training because of Jackson's nasty ear infection. :(

Last week....
(Can't remember which day)

Warm-up:
Joint Mobility
5 minute double-under practice.... I haven't practiced these in awhile and I SO NEED TO! 5 minutes seemed like forever.

Row 500 meters

Tabata sit-ups

WOD:
21-15-9
Overhead squats (35#)
ring dips (black band)

Time: 9:12

I have to say that this was the first time using my weightlifting shoes and my GOODNESS they made a world of difference in my OHS. Now I just need to work on my shoulder flexibility. Super tight.

My energy has been crap lately. I am going to start taking ProAnox. I was further educated on it yesterday at the Sac-Town throw down when I was chatting it up with Justin Moles. I am actually excited to start using it. Antioxidants help with recovery, eliminating free radicals and one of the ingredients can actually help with weight loss, meanwhile helping with strength and building muscle wink. Who doesn't like that? I am SOLD! wink

6.25 mile hill run/walk with Jackson in the BOB..... I could have gone forever, but it was freezing cold and it looked like it was about to rain. Note to self: buy a rain shield for the BOB.

5x5 (95#)- that felt heavy.... I am getting weak

1.5 mile run (HIIT) felt good

4:30 class with Chris

LLF Warm-up.... love it

Snatch- only went to 15#

I have to thank Charles for also stressing that the antibiotics I am on are hardcore and can cause tendon rupture. I have been warned by the doc too. Nice. Good news is that although my labs are still showing I am really sick, I feel a ton better. Some days are better than others. Any day I can train is a good day, even if the weight is lighter.

WOD

3 rounds for time
20 Power Cleans (45#)
20 barbell burpees

Time: 10:56

I did not take my inhaler and my lungs were about to explode. I had that Fran feeling. I will never train without it again. I was happy to train with Katie. Giggling through the pain is always helpful. wink

Looking back at my WOD log I guess I have worked out since October, but not consistently.

I was glued to my desk catching up on work and felt the pressure to get downstairs for a quickie. wink

10 Rounds for time:
5 Rounds for Time
5 Deadlifts (95#)
10 Abmat Sit-Ups

The plan was to do 5 Rounds, then after being down at 2:43, I decided to do another 5 rounds. It was a good little burner, but if I had known I was going to workout I would have brought my inhaler. My lungs are not happy with me.

Happy to workout with my Katie Bear. smile lol

Double-under Seminar with Aaron and Will

WOW!!!!! DING! DING! DING! I finally can string more than 5 together!!!! I can actually keep going, but my lungs won't keep up. This was one hell of a workout too. Jumping forever. My calves were KILLING me the next day!

Thanks for a GREAT seminar gentlemen and I honestly believe the Rx Jump Rope with the beginner cable made the difference for me. smile

10/28/11... taken a few days off, I will not be making that a habit.

Warm-Up

Joint Mobility

Movement Review

Skill - Strength

20 Rep Back Squat Program #1 - #83

** I get so light-headed every time. I know when to breathe, it's always the up and down motion. I had to stop several times to breathe (without putting the bar down, of course)

WOD - Finisher

Against a 20 minute clock:

AMRAP in 10 minutes of:
10 Deadlift (#55)
10 Hang Power Cleans

7 Rounds+14 reps

Then right to

“Half Cindy”
AMRAP in 10 minutes of:
5 Pull-Ups
10 Push-Ups
15 Air Squats

3 rounds +17 reps

I am glad I am back on it. I felt like poop after several days of being a bad girl.
