Been off the log a few days.. busy at Oly lifting Cert. eating zone/paleo as always smile

2/13

Meal 1: 7am
protein shake- 3/4c almond milk, 1/4c coconut milk, 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1 small scoop protein pwdr

Meal 2: 1:30pm
4 large prawns
about 2 cups lettuce
1/2 avocado
1 tbls vinaigrette

Meal 3: 8:30pm
scallops with brussel sprouts and mushrooms
quite a few glasses of good wine
one little heart shaped chocolate

It has been two weeks now since doing fairly strict zone/paleo. I have definitely leaned out (down about 5 lbs) and feel better than ever! I haven't experienced any decline in energy or strength, still hitting lots of PR's and getting faster at my WOD's. Undecided at this time whether or not I will start adding in more fats... I don't want to get too skinny but I am the closest I have ever been to seeing a six pack...

I really don't have any desire anymore to have cheat meals; most of those things don't really hold the same appeal that they used to. There are a few things I eat that aren't 100% paleo but I do the best I can...Overall I can say that I have seen nothing but positive effects on my fitness and daily well-being from making these changes!
