08:00 5oz fish, 4 cups broccoli, 1 apple, 12 almonds, 30 olives (5 p, 4 c, 13 f) again an extra fat block to compensate for leaner fish

13:00 4oz beef, 1 head swiss chard, 12 asparagus spears, 2 cups mixed berries, 8tsp walnuts (4 p, 4 c, 8 f)

16:15 1.5oz fish, ½ apple (1 p, 1 c)

19:10 6oz salmon, 3 cups green beans, ½ grapefruit, 24 almonds (4 p, 4 c, 8 f)

21:30 2 hardboiled eggs, 1 apple (2 p, 2 c, 4 f)

Total: 16 p, 15 c, 33 f

Felt really hungry before bed…wondering how to fix that. Has anyone found the secret to stopping late-night carb cravings?

13:00 ground beef, swiss chard, mixed berries, walnuts, avocado (not WAM, ~5 pro 4 cho, 13 fat)

6:00 1 hardboiled egg, ½ apple (1 pro, 1 cho, 2 fat)

7:15 4oz tuna, 4 cups broccoli, 1 grapefruit, 5tbsp avocado, 18 almonds (4 pro, 4 cho, 8 fat) compensating slightly for the tuna having almost no fat

9:30 1 hardboiled egg, ½ apple, 6 almonds (1 pro, 1 cho, 2 fat)

15 pro, 14 cho, 33 fat. A textbook day in the double-fat zone. Couldn’t ask for better.

6:20 6oz tofu, 2 ½ cups kale, ½ apple, 12 almonds (4 blocks)

8:30 ice cream, 6 month old chocolate cake (not sure why I did this)

12:30 8 large egg whites, 1 bowl of pumpkin-squash soup, ½ pear, 12 almonds (4 blocks; I wasn’t sure how to calculate blockage for the soup, but I decided to go ahead and guestimate since I’ve been doing so well these past two days)


3:15 2oz cheese, 1 small orange, 1 cup mint tea w/honey (2 blocks)

6:30 4oz chicken, ratatouille, 1 medium apple, 24 cashews (4 blocks, 2x fat)

7:45 natural all-organic vanilla ice cream (as a reward for three days of good zoning, and also as a result of this thread: http://www.board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=20754)

Okay, first of all, I'm not sure what the hell happened to Monday's post, I could have sworn I put it up here...but anyway, Monday was a very good first day in the Zone. Here's Tuesday.

7:30 4oz chicken, 1 ¼ cup steel cut oats, 15 almonds (4 blocks)

10:45 decaf coffee with half-and-half

12:30 6oz tofu, 1 apple, large green salad, 12 almonds (4 blocks)

3:45 ½ cup low fat cottage cheese, 2 cups green beans, 6 almonds (2 blocks)

6:40 4oz chicken, 2 ½ cups chard, 1 medium apple, 12 almonds (4 blocks)

8:45 ¾ scoop whey powder, 1 medium pear, 6 cashews (2 blocks)
