Haven't deadlifted in ages and now 315lbs feels incredibly heavy. Wasn't going to hurt myself and decided to work up to 315lbs.

Today is definitely the best day to resurrect my WOD log not only because it's Chinese New Year's, but I ended up with a quicker WOD time than Mr. Chis Lalanne, the man himself. Great start to a new year! Had to put in some extra work for those couple extra seconds under his; definitely gave me a run for my money. Knew I was going to get on the WOD log before him considering that he's probably beating himself up over tonight's upset. Hang in there Chris, we all have our up's and down's. You are still a great athlete!

Had a great time Saturday with CrossFit Total. Hit 2 new PR's thanks to the 11:30am CrossFit Total crew. We pushed it hard. Need to up my game on the dead lifts.

Haven't deadlifted for AWHILE. Previous PR was 3x5 at 365lbs. Funny how fast strength deteriorates for a lift when you're not consistent with it.

All,

I’m getting together with couple of the guys from the box to watch the UFC Heavyweight Title fight between Lesnar vs. Velasquez Saturday, October 23rd. Fight starts at 7pm but the main event won’t be till later. Tentative places I had in mind are either Jillian’s Billiard Club on 4th St. and Mission St. or The Parlor on Columbus St. and Leavenworth St. I’m open to to other suggestions. If you're down to watch a great fight, kick back, have dinner and some drinks, come through. Give me a ring or talk to me at the box.
