Absolutely killed this one. I think it was easier when I put it in perspective because Chris wanted me to go with 135 lbs. He's a mad scientist like that. I saw some of the times from the master class guys and the WODs you crazy people did. I can't make the games this year, but it is on the calendar for sure next year. I'm going to have to get in on some of these WODs for real. Nice work by the evening classes, it was real fun to watch.
Great class taught by Eric, this workout was a monster. I felt great doing the workout, but about half an hour after I finished I thought I was going to get a visit from pukie. Fun times at the brickhouse.
stayed to play with the 5:30 class and did the snatch class. My feet when I land are super wide, but I did get low in the overhead squat. It was a great class at 5:30. It was fun to watch (and I was glad to not have to do 'Karen')
Doing the Muscle Ups has always been on my crossfit bucket list. I finally just decided to get on the rings and do it and not psych myself out. I feel like the next time I do this one I will get it under 9 minutes at least. This is not so much a cardio intense workout, but a test of your absolute power and strength. I'm interested to see how I feel tomorrow, because I've been feeling great these past couple of workouts.
it's been a while since I've posted, but I have been working out a bit. It hasn't been at crossfit intensity, but it's been something. Getting back into the brickhouse was awesome. I pretty much murdered this workout. I was definitely feeling it from the start. I'm getting past pacing myself at the beginning and saying to myself that I should just push it as hard as I can for the entire workout even if I don't make it to the end. It was a great class to be a part of though. Everyone pushed it hard.
Wow, a whole week of this? I told Maribel that I know that is must have been a coincidence that Eva was the workout on my birthday. Or was it? Eva...Evan? Shenanigans...Doesn't matter, I wasn't really thinking about that while I was pushing through this suckfest. It was kind of awesome though. I think the length of the workout mentally makes you want to pace yourself, so you have to remind yourself to push harder especially during the runs. I think I could have actually done this faster, but my diet has been below par lately. I'm really happy that I got to do this one. And I got the #2 spot on the overall board! Fun times and a great way to celebrate turning 18. It's how I feel anyway
had real wobbly legs on the first round of push presses after the row. I've switched up my routine to get my workouts done in the morning, and I'm not sure if my body is ready for it yet. Anything on the rower is a mentally tough workout. I'm going to try and get in the brickhouse in the morning tomorrow, hopefully I'll survive...
Felt good on this one, even if the time wasn't blazing. I'm starting to feel a little like my body is starting to break down, so I'm going to pay more attention to the stretching and proper warmup so I don't pull or strain anything. This was a good workout to start the week.

Knees to Elbows
KB Swings - 1 pood
Thrusters - 95 lbs
My buddy and I made this one up and didn't keep the time. The step ups were tough. Couldn't bounce off the floor on my right leg because of my achilles. I'm going to have to start taking care of that. everything else was cool, but I tried to push myself harder through the rounds so I was pretty wiped after this was done. it was an ok effort, will definitely push it harder next time.
Not sure what to make of this one. I wasn't sure how far I was running because I hadn't measured the distance around the block. The prescribed is 400m. I felt good on the runs, especially in the long straightaways. I was also able to bang out the power cleans quickly. Felt good today even after the destruction from yesterday.

Wow, today was a humbling day. I realized how far I away I am on the gymnastic skills as far as my midline strength goes and my flexibility. I could barely get my legs parallel on the L-sit, my handstand hold needs more work and bar muscle ups are waaaay different than muscle ups on the rings. I have a lot of things that I can practice now though. All that being said, I checked off another Level 3 benchmark by getting 33 burpees in a minute. Thanks to Sachs for timing me on those and to Chris for not making me do all 50 after I was done. I'll definitely get pukie brewster in under 10 minutes soon. The WOD at the end of this was no joke either. Big ups to Todd for killing it on the runs, I think he was about 200 meters ahead of all of us on the last 2 rounds. Doing this with 2 pood and a 20 pound wall ball sucks. But I need to remind myself that if I can get through the first 42 reps, the other 2 rounds won't be as bad. I stopped way too many times on the swings in the first set. My runs felt good though, but I mostly was trying to not get beat by Gerard. He beasted this one out too.
I felt low energy today, and I think that I was fatigued from moving all day the day before. My lower back and shoulders are gone, and I feel that I was super slow on this WOD. The time seems pretty good, but I feel like I could get it into the 3's. It did give me a chance to concentrate on my midline stability which I've been neglecting these past few weeks. I'm excited to see what's instore a the brickhouse tomorrow at noon. Chris, I have your burpees that I owe you. And I'm going to try and get 28 in a minute. And I'll be in my business socks

DNF this one. I meant to do the Jason WOD, but I messed up on the numbers for the squats. My shoulders were still super tired from the previous WOD with all the power cleans. I got through about 4 muscle ups on the last set before I had to tap out. I finished out the squats and jogged home.
5 burpees
10 Power Cleans - 135 lbs
15 Knees to Elbows
7 rounds + 5 burpees and 3 power cleans
This workout was brutal. I saw that Chris had the high mark wtih 7 rounds and I thought that 10 rounds were possible, but I seriously ran out of gas at the end. I got through 4 and half rounds in 10 minutes but couldn't keep the pace up. Chris was pushing everyone, but as with pretty much all the WODs, they look easier on paper than they are in practice. I still think that 10 rounds is possible with this one. next time.
