1 hour private pilates class this morning - it was great! I really love Pilates and my instructor this morning was terrific.

I was out of town the past few days back in NJ and NY and didn't get a chance to workout at all. Had a bar mitzvah to go to, which was very entertaining. Then went to visit my brother in NYC.

Tuesday 9/16
1 hour Pilates reformer class

Wednesday 9/17
warm-up:
500m row
3x--> 10 sit-ups, 10 ghd sit-ups, 10 good mornings
WOD (3x)
run 400m
15 deadlifts (105lbs)
20 boxjumps (20in)
time = 12:10

this was difficult - i'm not a huge fan of the running, but that was nothing compared with the box jumps. those things kicked my ass and I definitely felt like I might puke after the first round and hyperventilate after the third. next time i'll try for under 12 minutes.

btw - mike was a great instructor, he's doing the Wednesday 7AM class going forward. Thanks Mike!

Tuesday 9/9
1 hour Pilates Reformer Class

Wednesday 9/10
3.3 mile run - consisted of 5 minute warm-up and 25 minutes of interval running: 1 minute walk, 2 minutes run at 8.4 to 8.8 on the treadmill
1000m row
20 box jumps 16 inch high box
20 push-ups on bosu ball
750m row
20 box jumps 16 inch high box
20 push-ups on bosu ball
500m row
20 box jumps 16 inch high box
20 push-ups on bosu ball

stretch out. This was a very great workout.

Thursday 9/11
0.5 mile warm-up run
3x:
15 squats with 45lbs. on each side of the bar
12 pushups and stomach pulls using the TRX ropes (legs are in ropes while doing push-ups and stomach pulls - http://www.fitnessanywhere.com/index.php)
25 sit-ups
3x:
12 arm press/deadlift with 17.5lbs in each hand
25 sit-ups on ball

stretch

Heading back to the east coast tonight so I don't think I will be working out there.

This past weekend was my bachelorette party in Calistoga - definitely no working out there!! grin

Today:
Ran 30 mins. on a tread mill:
---> 5 minute warm-up: 1 minute walk, 4 minutes at level 7
--->25 minutes of 1 minute walk, 1 minute running at levels 8 to 8.8

My first week of going to LaLanne twice in one week. I think it went pretty well and could have increased the weight in the kettlebells, so next time I guess I will.

Warm Up
500 jump-rope (i probably got through about 350-400)
As many rounds as you can in 7 mins:
10 jumping pullups
10 push-ups
10 squats

I finished 8 rounds in the 7 mins.

WOD

3 rounds for time:
5 burpees
15 kettlebell swings (I used 8 lbs. and could probably handle one level higher)
25 wall balls w/10lbs. (not ready to go higher on this yet) felt like i was going to puke after the first round of this.

i think my time was 7:48...
