Going to try to start posting again... 60 days till wedding!!! Do MUCH better when I post!
Damn Paleo Challenge weight probably back, but refuse to get on scale. Back on...

Trying to eat even less this time around... and less cheese. Trying to cut meals into smaller portions. T

Monday Oct 3
Breakie - 2 eggs
Lunch- half thing of phou soup, ate mostly broth and steak, a couple bites of noodles
Dinner- Chicken breast in BBQ Sauce/Brussels Sprouts
Snack- 15 calories sugar free Popsicle


Tues/Oct 4
Breakie - 2 eggs/spinach
Lunch - 1/2 Cobb salad, no croutons
Snack- 1/4 Treo Bar
Dinner - half Steak/Asparagus/small Ceaser (barely there dressing)
Snack- 15 calories sugar free Popsicle

-oops, got behind in logging. know I ate paleo all day

7/29 Friday
-Same with Friday, did not go out, no alcohol

7/30 Sat
-company BBQ. did ok at first, but then had some crackers and cheese. darn it! bad day. ate dessert. First real free-day in challange. 4 drinks.

7/31 Sun
All Paleo, all day - too many pumkin seeds

8/1 Mon
back on to egg fritata in AM, chicken ceaser at lunch, steak snack and steak salad dinner.

rough few days being sick and stressing over work so much, but went to gym anyway. only one free day in all of this? I'll take it.

1/2 Chicken Breast and salad

2 meatballs

Protein shake - Primal Fuel

5pm drinks... had a soda and made it look like a cocktail. lied!
Then was poured wine and sipped on half a glass.. not bad for a night out with clients! total 0.5 drinks!

dinner- left over meatball soup from Everyday Paleo
almonds
2 oz mozzarella

Tues 7/26/11 Day 16

Still feeling weak after yesterday's procedure. First day back to work. Determined to CF - did 4 times last week and felt GREAT!

Ate eggs/spinach to start the day off right. Knew I had a big client lunch.

they brought in trays of sandwiches and chips. I took two and thew out the bread and ate the meat and cheese and that's it. of course I got so many stupid questions. I just went with "I think I have a gluten allergy"
So ridiculous

Dinner. Albondigas! From Daily Paleo Book! SOOOOOOOO good!

no other snacks, good day! was worried I would screw it up do to physical exhaustion and stress. Thank god I stuck with it! No alcholol.

Had to be put under for small medical procedure which sucked
woke up and all I wanted to do was order a pizza as I felt like I "deserved it" after such a bad 48 hours.

Remembered Chris's words about "if you know you have to log it, you might not eat it" and they worked. I could not imagine having to say that.

So I had eggs and sausage. Was still sooooo hungry (no food for 36 hours before procedure) so I forced us out to University Cafe where I was going for a burger. Got there and changed my mind once again to be good. Got an open turkey and swiss sandwhcih and only ate the meat and cheese. had a few bites of bread for the first time this month, a cup f tomato soup and called it might cheat meal... MUCH better then a pizza!

The snacked on tuna salad, allowed myself 4 crackers.

all in all, not a bad day. could have been a LOT worse! This challange is really helping.

Having to prepare for a colonoskopy tomorrow to see where some of my stomach pains are coming from. Have felt better since no gluten. Hmm...

Was not allowed to eat ALL day. So long intermittent fast! had to drink 18 servings of stool moving clear stuff. yuck.

NO food/Alcohol al day.

Sat - Day 13 of challange

Many friends coming over tonight for dinner. Allowing myself to have some wine, but not eat poorly

There were pita chips and crackers galore, but had NONE! Just celery and veggies with a little yogurt dip.

3 glasses of wine, which was surprising too much after not drinking. - 2nd time having anything to drink since challenge started. Not 100%, but better the the EVERY night drinking I was doing before this! I'll take a 90% on this!

Steak, onions, chicken, Snacked on some cheese, but no crackers.
No desert. Had a bite of homemade purple root rice to try it, it was so good. Some palep people say rice is not bad... is it?

steak salad, went out to lunch with people eating lots of bread, had none!
dinner: steak and brussel sprouts

**have cut the pumkin seeds out! only for the movies instead of popcorn
snacking on prosciutto-wrapped-mini-frittata-muffins

To date in challenge - NO BREAD, NO GRAINS, NO ALCOHOL (minus 1 day of two glasses) Stomach feeling much better! Weight coming off!!! cool smile

Eggs and Spinach - late breakie

3pm lunch, we had leftover chicken breast, 1/2 piece of white corn, broccoli

snacked for dinner on leftover chicken, carrots, pumkin seeds, 1/2 burger.

No alcohol even though all my friends were drinking at Prepare for the Playa! cool smile

NO ALCOHOL SINCE CHALLENGE STARTED! (stop laughing... I want points damn it!)

Would have been a perfect day but got munchies again around 10pm and had more pumkin seeds. Maybe this is not bad but it feels like it is. Need a new snack, bought celery to try!

Still no alcohol. Boring weekend, but at least went to Half Moon Bay to be social.

Eggs and Paleo chicken sausage for breaki

Lunch at the Brewery, didn't even WANT a beer. Starting to feel really good. Had a chicken ceaser salad with barely any dressing.

Dinner - leftover ribs, broccoli, corn (half a piece of white corn).

At early, still hungy.

25 more pumpkin seeds, 2 sugar free Popsicle, 5 cherries.

Need to come up with something for the 8pm-11pm time frame . Still really munchy, eating too much here I think and this is wen I STRETCH paleo. Like Jello with 5 calories, can't be that bad, but not paleo.. snake

Greek Salad no cheese (so just let, tom, cucumbers and a little oil) with gyro meat on top for dinner

still hungry later, more pumkin seeds (50?)
1 35 calorie cow cheese
1 15 calorie popcicle.

need better snacks, don't want to eat fruit...hmmm.

live culture yogurt from my stomach doc's orders, 100 calorie, greek yogurt with no crap in it, 4 blueberries on top.
